I installed CIS 6 premium as advised and guess what ? even it is more heavy on my CPU and memory, I can freely do my work without Browser crashing, or system freezing. I can't deny it. It's the smoothest suite I ever used. I love the clean organized interface. I find everything much faster, than in the older version. CIS 6 does not slow me down at all, in fact it made my computer a breeze. I find less trash to clean, which makes it possible for me to work for days, even without cleaning. I love Comodos custom Interface.

This happened about february 2010. everytime i surfing internet i always look at statistic in my modem application so i can see my bandwith and etc. i always disturb by berserk uploading data every 20 minute about 100kb. i have installed free avira antivirus + microsoft security essential and have scan my hdd all night long, but this uploading not stopped. so surf the internet and remember about black ice defender but it has expired and not to continued it service so i googling about firewall and i gott comodo firewall/CIS complete with antivirus so i installed it. i have shock that in my bit comet app comes with trojan virus. owh that its the problem, and steal my email pasword or anything that it had upload. so i thank so many times with this great application. and now Comodo Internet Security Premium comes with all package best security application. (like black ice defender + with antivirus and sandbox program). i hope it can serv 100 years to come. very very thanks for this great application.

Not sure if Samuel was his actual name, but today he helped to get rid of some spyware that had found its way onto my computer and then also install comodo antivirus. It was not so straight forward but Samuel kept trying and eventually got there. Fantsatic service and one which I will be recommending to both friends and family. My wife is over the moon that her computer was repaired and is now able to continue with her universitiy studies during a critical time of the studying calendar.

Comodo Backup is a powerful and great tool. Easy to use but has advanced features not seen elsewhere. I will be recommending it to my server and enterprise customers. Highly impressed.

I have been using Comodo Internet Security Pro 2011/12 on Windows XP for around three months now. First on a trial and now on a 1 year paid license. I am very impressed with the product so far. I have very recently returned to your internet security and so far am impressed with the way it runs and keeps quiet with no nag screens and no questions . Even better is the browser Dragon which I had never heard of until yesterday . I am currently putting the dragon through its paces and so far find it at least as fast as anyone else with a simple interface and eaay to use menus . I have not seen one example of the usual freezes and crashes you get with most browsers.Pleasantly surprised well done Comodo.

I heard about CIS by chance and from then on i use it and i'm very delighted, The AV is ok,the Firewall is the best; i well-read about Comodo AV+ Firewall on forums from my country and it's very praised. Congratulation for your CIS.

I have a 4 year old laptop with only 192mb of RAM and during this period I've tried every free firewall and antivirus program out there plus one or two paid for ones. Most of them slow my system down a bit. Norton made it run like it was running through soup and it got a bad virus. I've used the Comodo free stand alone firewall in the past, found it to be a bit intrusive and eventually went back to Zonealarm. However, I went to the Comodo site and found the Comodo Internet Security program for free, so I downloaded it, gave it a try and WOW!!! What a revelation, my computer has speeded up and it's only using two thirds of the resources that it was before installation. It passes stealth tests and virus detection tests. At last I've found a program that does what it says, with no frills bells or whistles, or catches. Keep up the good work. If it carries on like it is I will definitely upgrade. Only one problem, I can't get it to stay in stealth mode on the stealth mode wizard.

The computer I am using comodo on has very low RAM and a very small hard drive. I am using the basic firewall and it seems to be working wonderful. I've used other firewalls such as ZoneAlarm, CA, AVG, and a couple others. I have to say that Comodo is the best so far. It runs nicely on a low performance computer such as the one I'm using now. The other listed were honestly a pain in the rear. Plus if you need help the mods here seem very friendly and helpful

Anyway Thank you Comodo. You saved me and my Studios many hours, and videos. I'm an beginning film maker hoping to be big some day. When me and my friends originally formed Amazing Pictures Studios. We had only a cheap-o computer that had an outdated Norton. When the time came 3 years later. We got a horrible Malware problem. We risked complete data loss, and just about lost all of our films. But when we downloaded and installed comodo. It ended that problem. And it saved us alot of time

One of the younger members of our family downloaded what he thought was a game.  It wasn't.  It really was malware. But luckily I had just set up CIS in the so called "Parent Mode" (Parental Control on, alerts automatically blocked, Clean PC mode).  So the "malware" wasn't able to do anything.  Of course the "young member of the family" was upset that his game didn't work.  So he blamed it on someone else.

I am a long time Norton user. I have used their products since 2000 and never had a problem with any of them. I never got infected or hacked and also never experienced any system slowdowns or resource problems. Until a week ago I was using Norton Internet Security 2009 which is an excellent product and easily the best they have ever offered but due to recent financial difficulties, I was reluctant to pay the $50 to renew my subscription and decided to explore other options. I read very positive reviews of CIS and decided to give it a try. I am not sorry that I did. I am very happy with the product and extremely impressed by the availability of configuration options. The performance of my system is just as good as with Norton (not better) even when I'm playing my games in full screen. I have had no problems with CIS so far and I'm looking forward to the new version. I still have 30 days left on the Norton subscription but I don't think I will be going back to it. Not because Norton is bad,it's not,in fact it's excellent,but CIS is just as good, if not better and best of all---- it's FREE. I tested CAV by downloading the Eicar test file in different ways. I first tried the text version and CAV wouldn't even let it download. I downloaded the zip and it did download and I was able to extract it without an alarm but as soon as I opened the folder the test file was in, the alarm went off. I didn't even have to click on the file itself or try to manually scan it. It was detected as soon as I opened the folder. When I buried the file in a folder with about 100 other files it was detected when I just moused over it. I find that very impressive. Congratulations on producing such an excellent product and thank you for letting the lucky people using it to do so for free.

I have tried numerous antimalware products from AVG to Zonealarm and everything in between. Believe me when I say there is nothing that compares to Comodo internet security. Defense + is fantastic and the firewall speaks for itself,the best in the world. The antivirus is a fast learning animal, detection rate on par with the best but who needs AV  when you have DEFENSE +. Why pay for any of the rest when you can get the best for FREE! I have been using the free version of Comodo Internet Security ( firewall and anti-virus) for about a year 6 months now. I had been using the paid version of the McAfee Internet Security Package for like 3 years. And I tell you, McAfee software has too many bugs in it. In contrast, all other internet security packages on the market today (EVEN MANY PAID VERSIONS) can't top any Comodo (FREE VERSION SOFTWARE), let alone the paid version of Comodo. It's truly amazing how safe I feel on the Internet while using Comodo Internet Security(FREE VERSION). I only use Spyware Terminator along side of Comodo and that's it. During the 6 months I have used Comodo I have not had any trouble with it whatsoever, nor with my computer.  Comodo has a very clean user interface and is overall very savvy-featured for the beginner and advanced user's alike. Comodo I wish you guys would get a contract with my high speed cable company Cox Communications here in Warner Robins, Georgia and take the place of their contract with McAfee. Cox Communications offers free internet security to their customers like me. I have been with comodo since comodo firewall 2.0 came out. It was great and since then I have seen great improvements. Once I spent the time to actually learn the software it really works great. Only recently have I started to use AV but once again it has had great improvements. I like the keep it free philosophy and whenever I have the change I recommend it. If I ever have the change to recommend it to a business I do because I know that any revenue going to comodo means better products on our end.

Hi, been on the forum for more than 3 months now and thought I had better post my first message. What better way than with a testimonial.I have been using computers for more than 20 years and have used a variety of computers from Sord M5 to Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and various PCs. Also I have used numerous free and paid for security systems, Norton/Symantec,McAfee,Panda to name but a few.Up until January of this year.I had been using the AVG free version,which I thought was the best free one around.(only the anti-virus;you have to purchase their firewall)Then I got to hear of Comodo and would now not consider using any other system.For me,haviing one company providing both the anti-virus and firewall in one package is a lot better.So far both have worked very well indeed and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I was using Avast 4.8 and PC Tools Firewall Plus on my wife's pc, and here recently she's been having all kinds of problems with different things.   Pc Tools is a top notch firewall, but I was having my doubts with Avast on her machine (I use Avast Pro on my machine without any problems). I decided to un-install the firewall and Avast and try CIS.  I've heard nothing but great things with their firewall and defense +.  I watched mrizos's review of CIS 3.8 & 9 on his youtube site and was astounished.  I download CIS from download.com, installed it w/antivirus & threatcast and did the first initial virus scan.  It found 8 nasties on her machine, all of which weren't fasle positives, all that Avast had previously missed in about 5+ boot time scans.  I rebooted, updated, and it found another nasty!  Amazing!  So far this program is fantastic, and so much lighter in resources that Avast ever was!  Avast was using (at times) 70+ MB of memory from her pc.  That's a little unacceptable for me, especially since she is still running a socket 754 system. Even when I'm doing a full virus scan with Comodo it doesn't reach 70+ mb of memory.  This is a very nice feature that I'm pretty fond of.  I also like the scheduled scan setting in CIS, you have to pay to get this feature with Avast! All in all 10/10 from me, simply amazing piece of software.

Many thanks to all at Comodo, on the 27 th July something crept in to my laptop and stopped me from logging on to the net. I purchased Kapersky on Sunday morning but it would not I had been using AVG and thought it was ok, lucily I was able to download COMODO on my old computer and when I installed it, it bought my laptop back to life again. First of all, I want to explain that I am No Expert.....just a common punter who surfs the internet and uses his computer for everyday things like sending Emails writing the odd letter and fixing photographs. I came across Comodo Firewall about 4 years ago, downloaded it and was reasonably happy with it.....it was free, not to complicated and as they say on the advertisements "it did what it said on the tin"........couldn't ask for much more. Then they updated it a year or two back and then I had problems.....so I dumped it and reverted back to the original and I was happy again. Then I read a review in "Webuser" Magazine and it highly praised the combined anti-virus and the firewall. So as I respect this Magazine I decided to give the new version a try once again. Wow am I glad I did, it is SUPERB reallly really SUPERB I was so pleased with it I put it I on my other computer.....so easy to use and never gets in the way. Far easier than the first Comodo Firewall I had. Anyway, due to an offer my daughter had on her computer of "kaspersky Internet Sercurity" for 3 computers I decided to replace my other computer's Comodo Firewall with the paid version of Kaspersky. Not at all pleased with it and as soon as "kaspersky Internet Sercurity" ends it's years subscription I will come back to Comodo. The computer I am writing this on has still it's Comodo Firewall and here it will stay. Thanks to all on the Comodo Team for bringing this great product......soon all the computers in our house (five) will have Comodo securing them Thanks again....keep up the great work you do.

I've been using Comodo firewall for about a month and everything works as it should, no problemo. I've never seen a firewall with so many user controlled features as Comodo. Excellent product! Keep up the great work!!

All I can say is WOW!  Your antivirus/firewall suite rocks so hard it's difficult to believe it's even real, more the less free.  I love it!  I love the essentially no impact on my system so I can use my computer without sharing  it half the time with the antivirus engine.  I love the customization.  I love the features.  I love everything.  As soon as the economy starts to turn around, I'm starting a legal business, and buying my corporate antivirus licenses here!

This is the first full free antivirus i have tried and i just want to say thank you, people on low income or little money really need this in these hard times. The scanner and firewalls are better than the free trials i have tried. and none of them offered a free online forum either. you had to spend upwards of 50$ just to get minimul protection. awesome job for the person who created this unique product. again thank you so much.

I have binned Zone Alarm after 10 years or so on different computers.  The problems started when Checkpoint took over.  The updates were bloated, used 100% of a 3.2GHz PC, slowed things right down and the company wouldn't listen.  I lost confidence in Zone Alarm after using the forum and being told "IT DOES WORK - TOPIC CLOSED" !!!!  I had sent pictures and examples of the many problems with the latest update.  The interface was cluttered and it kept showing pop-up windows with warnings to get you to buy things! I read through many web pages, forums, asked about etc to see what people use.  After downloading COMODO I was amazed, it installed without a problem, it's clear with settings grouped together under tabs, it can run itself or the user can take more control, AND....it works better than any other firewall I have used on Windows XP.  For a day I battered the computer with firewall test sites afer switching the one in the router off.  Now I am far more confident the computer is correctly protected with COMODO.  At least the company listens to customers and likes to hear from them with ideas/suggestions.  That can only be a good thing to make the products even better and really understand what people want. At least I don't hear my laptop sounding like a hovercraft as it did with ZA.

I have been using Comodo products over the past numerous years and believe that the newest version of Comodo Internet security Pro is the best I have seen. I believe it is unbeatable by any other vendors products and the best thing is you can try it for Free. Nortons, Mcafee, Kapersky, you name it and I have removed viruses from each of these vendors for clients. When I set the client up with Comodo I suddenly have a vacuum of not receiving calls to come remove another virus, trojan, worm, ETC. I may have to go back to hardware work if this keeps up. You guys keep up the good work and thanks for your help in the past with issues from your older software.

I have recently discovered COMODO and now realize I  have wasted my time looking at other products. I have tried numerous backup products from Acronis to Paragon to Ocster to  and everything in between.
