SSL Certificate Auto-installer


Welcome to the Comodo SSL Certificate Auto-Installer download page. This small application is designed to ease the CSR generation and certificate installation on IIS web servers. This installer must be run on the web server that hosts the site that the certificate is intended for.


Download the installer

The installer will ask you to fill out your Comodo login details and certificate order number. Click 'Install Certificate' to begin the process.


  • If necessary, copy the downloaded file to your web server
  • Run ComodoSSLAutoInstallerSetup.exe
  • Your order number is detailed in your certificate confirmation email.
  • Forgotten Password?

This applet will:

  • Automatically generate a public/private key pair on your IIS web server.
  • Use this key pair to create a CSR and automatically submit it to Comodo over a secure SSL connection to create your certificate.
  • Collect and automatically install the certificate onto your IIS web server.
Note 1: The installer generates your public/private key pair on your web server - not the Comodo servers. Your private key never leaves your web server and is not transmitted to Comodo or any third party.

Note 2: After your certificate has been installed, you should confirm that the certificate is working for the domain you applied for. (For example, open a browser and connect to https://your_domain.com)

Important: You must be running IIS 6.0 or higher on Microsoft Server 2003 or higher to use this installer. If you are using an older version of IIS or Microsoft Server, then you cannot use this installer and need to manually create and submit your CSR.
