Comodo SSL unravels cryptography with joint presentation at IMA conference.
“Two can keep a secret if one is dead.” – Unknown
Manchester, UK December 17th 2003 — Comodo, the internet security specialists, announce a joint presentation between two of the leading intellects in Cryptography. Dr Colin Walter (Head of Cryptology, Comodo Research Lab) and Werner Schindler (of the German standards institute, BSI) will present their paper at the 9th International IMA conference on Cryptography and coding, 17th Dec 2003, Royal Agricultural College, Circencester.
The presentation, “More Detail for a Combined Timing and Power Attack against Implementations of RSA” will focus on the dangers to the integrity of smart cards and outline the theoretical and practical advances of cryptography and coding.
Both men have impressive pedigrees in the field of cryptology and Comodo is pleased to announce it’s association with them. Colin (Program Chair for the CHES Conference) has a formidable international reputation in the design of hardware and algorithms for the implementation of RSA cryptography. A senior member of the IEEE, Colin is most well-known to the international community for his invention of the first ever purely locally connected systolic modular multiplier array which is now the basis of the fastest SSL accelerator chips in the world.
