CLIFTON, N.J.—Feb. 1, 2017 – Gartner Inc. has added Comodo’s Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) solution to its Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) Magic Quadrant in recognition of the company’s completeness of vision and ability to execute1. AEP uses Secure Auto-Containment™, based on Comodo’s unique OS virtualization technology, combined with forensic analysis and human intelligence, to check 100 percent of files to determine if they are good or bad. The key difference with Comodo AEP is that all unknown files go into Secure Auto-Containment until a verdict can be rendered, so such files cannot have unfettered access to system resources.
